2.  The Template Manager Overview

The Template Editor is integrated into the Template Manager and the Content Editor. It is activated every time a template is selected in the content tree. The editor consists of three tabs – Template Builder, Masters and Base Templates.

The Build button of the Template chunk saves the current state of the template (this is an equivalent of the Save button).

The Remove button of the Entry chunk removes the currently selected entry. Use this button to remove fields and sections.

The Sorting chunk is used for common sorting operations. Use it to define in which order sections and fields will appear in items.

The Standard Values button opens the _Standard Values item for editing or creates it if it is not present yet. Read more about Standard Values.
